With a kitchen open from 2pm to 11pm daily (and from noon to 11pm on Fridays), Brutopia offers one of the simplest, yet diverse, pub menus in Montreal.  From light vegetarian snacks to gourmet sandwiches, the fare is as versatile as it is delectable.
Let’s take a look at their sandwich offerings.

CLASSIC PUB SANDWICHES

Every good pub should have a food menu with a few classic sandwiches: good and reliable fare that everyone knows and loves.  These sandwiches take flavors and a concept you may have grown up with or experienced in many other places, and puts an updated, Brutopia spin on the recipe, often through the addition of homemade guacamole (which also pairs very well, of course, with the pub’s Latin fare).

BLT: classic simplicity with bacon, lettuce, and tomato topped with cream cheese.

Boeuf Roti / Roast Beef:  A classic deli sandwich of tender, juicy slices of roast beef topped with sauteed onions and roasted red peppers

Bru Burger & Frites:  ¼ lb patty of beef, pork, and ham topped with cream cheese, homemade guacamole, aioli, and lettuce and served along with fries.

Hot Dog:  a homemade 100% beef sausage served on a brioche bun with coleslaw, tomatoes, onions, and pickled jalapeno

SPECIALTY SANDWICHES

Of course, you can’t be a leader in the food and beverage industry by simply doing what everyone else is doing.  In this case, Chef Dimitri and his colleague Sergio Cabiedes have also introduced a few sandwiches that offer a little something different, with influences from all over the world.  Many of these are cultural favorites with Latin influence.

Cochinita:  the Brutopia take on a pulled pork sandwich—marinated and served with homemade guacamole and aioli.

Cubano: a spin on the classic roasted pork sandwich served on a ciabatta bun with homemade guacamole, aioli, and lettuce.

Pepito: thin-grilled steak served on ciabatta bread and covered with refried black beans and then topped with pico de gallo salsa

Pesto Et Fromage de Chevre: a vegetarian option of lettuce, tomato, and goat cheese topped with pesto and aioli on a fresh ciabatta bun.

Poulet / Chicken: simple, but delicious chipotle-marinated chicken served with tomato salsa, lettuce, and aioli.
